A Bit About Me
An Italian-American Becomes Swiss
I moved to Switzerland in 1990 at 23, and I have taught in a private school in Ticino for most of that time. I am settled with my family in the Collina d'Oro, and I consider myself very fortunate. However, the transition to a foreign country can be an extremely challenging one. Culture shock and language differences can create significant obstacles for families settling into a new country. I have many personal stories to share with you and a wealth of knowledge regarding your move to Ticino, Switzerland.
Also, I have acquired skills in all aspects of teaching in various capacities in school operations over the past 30 years. My experience includes developing and implementing the curriculum, teacher training, office administration, test supervision, test coordination, EFL Support teacher, English Literature teacher from ages 6-21, and support teacher for differently-abled students. Moreover, I have worked as a classroom teacher for most of these 30 years, and I know the job's demands well.
With over 30 years of international teaching experience and first-hand expatriate know-how, I strive to provide relocation services for families, business executives, and locals. In addition, I am committed to delivering academic courses that fit every skill level and background and infuse my supportive and innovative teaching approach.
